Required skills include experience in incident response, threat hunting, and security architecture reviews. Technical competencies involve SQL, Python, Perl, PHP, or PowerShell, along with expertise in public cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and familiarity with Generative and Agentic AI tools.

What you'll do

  • Synthesize malware, attack patterns, and open/closed source intelligence to inform fraud detections.
  • Create mechanisms to combine detection signals that highlight cyber fraud threats for at-risk customers.
  • Research common indicators of compromise and modus operandi to communicate actionable referrals of at-risk accounts.
  • Monitor deep and dark web, social media, and other OSINT sources to gather threat intelligence.
  • Partner with engineering and data science teams to develop automated solutions for fraud TTPs.
  • Formulate actionable intelligence products and contribute to the company's cyber fraud response strategies.
  • Build internal processes to gather and process actionable cyber fraud intelligence.

What we're looking for

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
  • At least 4 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT performing incident response, threat hunting, threat intelligence, forensics, or offensive security.
  • At least 1 year of experience providing guidance and oversight of security concepts.
  • At least 1 year of experience performing security risk assessments and security architecture reviews.
  • At least 1 year of experience with architecture, software design, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in cyber-enabled fraud investigations, cybercrime, or advanced persistent threats (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in fraud methodologies, technologies, and trends including deposit, identity theft, and account takeover (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience building queries for relational databases to analyze complex data sets (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in programming or scripting such as SQL, Python, Perl, PHP, or PowerShell (preferred).
  • 3+ years of working in public cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in a highly regulated industry such as finance, fintech, healthcare, or intelligence (preferred).
  • 1+ year of experience working with Generative and Agentic AI tools (preferred).
