What you'll do

  • Develop and implement tailored System Safety program plans aligned with industry standards.
  • Conduct complex safety analyses, including FHA, Fault Tree, SCFTA, and SSA at system/sub-system levels.
  • Identify and document hazards & risks, manage hazard tracking databases, and ensure risk mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Lead Built In Test Plans and support Qualification Test Plan Development for new products.
  • Host regular corrective action reviews to communicate lessons learned with stakeholders.
  • Draft and implement System Safety Processes and reports to improve Design, Manufacturing, and Deployment Operations.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Safety Engineer or equivalent in defense/aerospace industry
  • Extensive knowledge of MIL-STD-882E and other relevant safety standards
  • Experience developing and implementing System Safety program plans aligned with customer needs
  • Conduct complex safety analyses including FHA, Fault Tree, SCFTA, and SSA for aircraft systems
  • Develop safety requirements and collaborate on design teams to implement safety solutions
  • Lead corrective action reviews and ensure timely implementation of lessons learned
