What you'll do

Manage software engineering aspects including architecture design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support for LTC CLOAS Admin system.
Lead technical sessions to understand complex business needs and ensure solutions meet coding standards and desired outcomes.
Assess current systems architecture, recommend improvements, and stay updated on technology trends and industry best practices.
Continuously research emerging technologies and propose necessary changes to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives and drive change across LTC business and technology teams.

What we're looking for

5+ years experience in Insurance or Financial Services industry.
Strong mainframe programming skills (COBOL, JCL, CICS, IMS).
Practical knowledge of LTC insurance products and premiums.
Proficient in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) with technical analysis skills.
Advanced SQL & data analysis experience; ability to manage concurrent deadlines.
Experience working in a cross-functional team environment on complex systems.
