Mainframe for Oracle Cloud Migration Specialist

What you'll do

• Map and analyze legacy Mainframe systems to Oracle Cloud core components.
• Document current-state mainframe architecture including applications, data flows, and integrations.
• Perform application portfolio assessments to inform migration and modernization strategies.
• Map COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS-based applications to target Oracle Cloud solutions.
• Execute data mapping and transformation from legacy structures to cloud-based data models.
• Create detailed functional and technical documentation including mapping specifications and migration artifacts.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders and vendors to ensure alignment with requirements.
• Participate in testing, validation, and defect resolution during and after the migration phase.

What we're looking for

• Must have 5+ years of experience with Mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS.
• Must have 2+ years of experience working with FIS Systematics for core banking applications.
• Must possess a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Must have proven experience in legacy system analysis and system-to-system mapping.
• Must have experience in application modernization or cloud migration initiatives.
• Must be able to translate legacy technical constructs into cloud-compatible designs.
• Must possess excellent communication and documentation skills.
• High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
