Machine Learning Video Process Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain data collection, processing, and curation pipelines for model training and testing.
• Design and implement deep learning algorithms for low-level vision tasks.
• Optimize models and algorithms for latency, memory, and computational efficiency.
• Integrate machine learning solutions into end-to-end video processing pipelines.
• Develop next-generation video processing algorithms for Apple products.
• Identify and develop machine learning solutions to be productized within the team.

What we're looking for

• Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree.
• Master's degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related fields (preferred).
• Knowledge of machine learning and video processing principles, algorithms, and techniques with first-hand experience.
• Programming skills and hands-on experience with Python and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch.
• Knowledge of low-level vision algorithms such as spatial and temporal image/video scaling and noise reduction (preferred).
• Background in digital signal and image processing (preferred).
• Publication record in top-tier conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, SIGGRAPH, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, or ICLR (preferred).
• Excellent independent problem-solving skills and communication skills (preferred).
