The Machine Learning Algorithm Engineer joins the Human Interface Devices team to develop core algorithms powering hand and gaze input and AI-powered experiences. What we're looking for
BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
2+ years of experience building ML models including data preparation, architecture selection, training, and evaluation using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model development.
Experience developing realtime, resource-constrained models using efficient architectures like CNNs and compression techniques like distillation and quantization.
Experience using genAI tools for software development such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
Experience with signal processing fundamentals, C++ implementation of realtime algorithms, and distributed data processing pipelines.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and perform root cause analysis.
