As an M&A and Accounting Policy Manager on Coinbase's Accounting team, you will serve as the primary accounting resource for all stages of mergers and acquisitions, from initial due diligence through post-close integration. Reporting to the Director of Reporting and Technical Accounting Policy, your responsibilities include leading financial due diligence, performing purchase price allocations under ASC 805, determining appropriate accounting treatments for strategic investments, and maintaining Coinbase's evolving accounting policies. You will work closely with Legal, Tax, Corporate Development, and Controllership teams to ensure compliance with US GAAP standards in a fast-paced environment. This role requires at least nine years of progressive experience in public accounting and industry roles, including expertise in M&A and investment accounting under ASC 805, ASC 321, ASC 323, and ASC 810, as well as the ability to draft technical memos and financial disclosures.
