What you'll do

Lead complex initiatives providing high-level systems consultation to support enterprise objectives.
Review and analyze technical challenges related to core business solutions, recommending enhancements.
Make informed decisions on system changes to ensure stability, scalability, and alignment with business needs.
Consult engineering teams on change design, applying knowledge of technical process controls and standards.
Drive end-to-end observability, SLOs, error budgets, and reduce alert noise for critical payment platforms.

What we're looking for

At least 3 years of application support experience
Over 3 years of Kubernetes or container orchestration platform experience
Experience in CI/CD & automation, including progressive delivery and reliability-as-code concepts
Strong background in SRE, production engineering, or service transition in complex environments
Solid understanding of high-value payment systems and their operational risks
Comfort with event-driven, distributed architectures and early-stage transformation projects
Ability to participate in rotating on-call schedules for system support
