Lead System Administrator

What you'll do

• Serve as the primary technical escalation point to resolve complex issues from the Service Desk.
• Manage the maintenance, configuration, availability, and business continuity of core IT services.
• Lead incident management for service outages and security incidents while ensuring clear communication.
• Identify recurring system issues and implement long-term automated solutions and process improvements.
• Provide advanced technical support for Google Workspace, Zscaler, macOS, networking, and Okta.
• Develop and maintain custom scripts or applications to improve system efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Create and maintain internal IT documentation and contribute to the company Knowledge Base.
• Manage vendor relationships and mentor team members on IT best practices.

What we're looking for

• Experience supporting SaaS platforms including Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, Iru, and other enterprise IT services.
• Knowledge of virtualization and cloud environments such as AWS, VMware, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Bash, Python, and/or Ruby.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Git, and GAM.
• Strong networking fundamentals including familiarity with the OSI model.
• Experience designing, implementing, and improving IT services.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle principles.
• ITIL Foundation (or higher) certification (preferred); experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (preferred).
