What you'll do

Design and build vector and graph database infrastructure for semantic content retrieval.
Manage embedding pipelines including chunking strategies and index refresh processes.
Select and evaluate embedding models based on quality versus operational cost trade-offs.
Develop the indexing pipeline, query layer, and integration with AI content generation platforms.
Lead a team of developers to build distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
Manage the data infrastructure layer for AI-driven content management capabilities.
Mentor other members of the engineering community and participate in technical communities.

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
Experience with data infrastructure, search systems, or AI/ML engineering (preferred).
Experience working with vector databases or embedding-based search (preferred).
Experience with data pipeline engineering including ingestion, transformation, chunking, and indexing at scale (preferred).
Experience with Python for data pipeline and backend service development (preferred).
Experience with RAG architecture (preferred).
Bachelor’s Degree.
