What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews for other team members.
Design and build backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
Manage real-time data ingestion pipelines using Kafka and RabbitMQ.
Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, Helm charts, and Karpenter.
Design and deploy end-to-end big data platforms and ETL pipelines for terabyte-scale datasets.
Orchestrate CI/CD workflows using Jenkins and Spinnaker across all environments.
Configure monitoring, alerting, and real-time performance dashboards using Datadog.
Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers on coding standards and design patterns.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field of study.
7 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Technical Lead, or related occupation.
Experience developing backend systems in Java using Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
Experience building RESTful APIs and integrating them with AWS Aurora, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases.
Experience managing real-time data ingestion pipelines using Kafka and RabbitMQ.
Experience designing aggregation pipelines and indexing strategies for unstructured data in MongoDB.
Experience executing serverless SQL queries with AWS Athena.
Experience managing and deploying containerized applications using Kubernetes, Helm charts, and Karpenter.
