What you'll do

Provide technical leadership for architecting new platform capabilities and large-scale distributed systems.
Lead teams of UI, full-stack, and data engineers to build highly available, fault-tolerant platforms.
Design and develop REST APIs and web services using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies.
Drive platform modernization initiatives supporting cloud transformation strategies using AWS and Databricks.
Champion the adoption of GenAI, Agentic AI, and automation across the software development lifecycle.
Establish engineering best practices for software quality, automation, observability, reliability, and performance.
Assess technologies for integrating backend data services with user interfaces.
Build and govern automated quality frameworks using JUnit, Mockito, and BDD testing frameworks.

What we're looking for

Provide technical leadership and expertise for architecting new platform capabilities and large-scale distributed systems.
Be hands-on with Java, Spring Boot, and distributed service architectures including REST APIs.
Be familiar with modern web development technologies including React and/or Angular, NodeJS, and GraphQL.
Be familiar with Big Data and analytics technologies such as Databricks, Hadoop, Spark, Python, and Scala.
Have experience architecting and delivering cloud-native solutions on AWS.
Have experience working with real-time or near real-time data ingestion and processing systems.
Understand Domain Driven Design (DDD) and Event Driven Design (EDD).
Build and govern automated quality frameworks based on JUnit and Mockito with a solid understanding of BDD testing frameworks.
