As a Lead Software Engineer within the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls line of business, you will join an agile team to build and deliver secure, scalable technology products. You will utilize a technical stack including Apache Flink, ClickHouse, Trino, dbt, Kestra, Apache Iceberg, PostgreSQL, Java, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript. You will also build micro front-ends using React or Angular. The role focuses on solving complex technical problems by ensuring operational stability, resiliency, and secure-by-design implementation across hybrid environments.

What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for other team members.
Design and evolve platform components and data pipelines using technologies like Apache Flink, ClickHouse, and PostgreSQL.
Build and integrate micro front-ends and user interfaces to deliver usable workflows for internal stakeholders.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of software systems.
Lead evaluation sessions with internal teams to probe architectural designs and technical credentials for existing systems.
Apply Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools and automation to improve overall engineering value.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and setting validation standards.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
Experience with distributed data platforms, data pipelines, and hybrid cloud environments (preferred).
