What you'll do

Maintain and optimize the existing Cloudera, HBase, and Kafka production environment during the migration period.
Design and execute a phased migration of billions of records to an AWS-native serverless architecture.
Partner with internal application developers to refactor data consumers for new AWS-native access patterns.
Implement strict data governance, encryption, auditing, and lineage protocols to ensure regulatory compliance.
Transition legacy NiFi and Kafka workflows into cloud-native pipelines using AWS MSK, Lambda, and Glue.
Manage the full lifecycle of a high-velocity data ecosystem while ensuring zero data loss during transitions.

What we're looking for

At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 1 year of experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).
5+ years of experience with the Hadoop ecosystem, specifically HBase and NiFi.
3+ years of experience architecting and deploying AWS DocumentDB or DynamoDB at a multi-billion record scale.
3+ years of experience with Apache Kafka (self-managed and AWS MSK) and AWS Lambda.
3+ years of experience maintaining live production systems.
1+ year of experience leveraging interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity.
Work authorization that require immigration support from an employer.
