What you'll do

Develop and maintain high-quality production code and algorithms for secure, scalable systems.
Design and produce architecture artifacts for complex applications while ensuring all design constraints are met.
Drive the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Implement advanced security measures including identity management, role-based access control, and entitlement governance.
Build and manage microservices architectures using Java, Spring Framework, and Kafka event streaming.
Design and implement data models for relational databases and large-scale big data processing.
Identify hidden patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
Utilize CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms to automate and scale software delivery.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Strong knowledge and practical experience with Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, MVC, Data), RESTful APIs, Microservices, and Kafka.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools for coding, review, and troubleshooting.
Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows including data sensitivity, security, and coaching others on safe adoption.
Practical knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, and designing data models for relational databases.
Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and cloud native technologies.
In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems.
Experience with modern data platforms, Spark, IAM platforms, or authorization models (preferred).
