As a Lead Software Engineer - Client Onboarding within Corporate Technology, you will join an agile team focused on building and delivering secure, scalable technology products. You will serve as a core technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software to support the Client Onboarding and KYC business. Your daily work involves collaborating with cross-functional partners, managing CI/CD pipelines, and implementing object-oriented design patterns to solve complex business problems. You will utilize Java, J2EE technologies including Spring and ORM frameworks, SQL for relational databases, and UI tools like HTML5 and JavaScript. Additionally, you will drive the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices while ensuring responsible AI usage. The role requires expertise in Maven, Bitbucket, and potentially Angular, React, or AWS to deliver robust solutions within a professional software development lifecycle.
Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software and new product capabilities.
Create innovative technology solutions to support Client Onboarding and KYC business functions.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable builds and deployments.
Apply object-oriented design and common patterns to create scalable technical solutions.
Produce clear technical documentation and facilitate knowledge sharing across the team.
Conduct code reviews, testing practices, and defect resolution to ensure high code quality.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices and validation standards.
Utilize SDLC toolchain automation capabilities to increase value and delivery speed.
What we're looking for
Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Proficiency in Java development with J2EE server technologies including Web Services, Spring, ORM frameworks, XML, Enterprise Java Beans, and JMS.
Working knowledge of CI/CD and build tooling such as Jenkins, TeamCity, or Maven.
Working knowledge of design patterns, UML, and object-oriented concepts.
Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
Working knowledge of source control management tools like Bitbucket or equivalent.
Working knowledge of UI technologies including HTML5 and JavaScript.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and understanding responsible AI practices in engineering workflows.
Working knowledge of Angular or React (preferred).
Working knowledge of AWS or equivalent cloud technologies (preferred).
