What you'll do

Manage and lead a team of sourcing engineers and subcontract managers while hiring new talent.
Develop supply chain strategies to ensure continuity, quality, and cost optimization for scaling operations.
Negotiate complex commercial terms with suppliers to secure best-in-class pricing, quality, and delivery.
Drive the development and consolidation of manufacturing Bills of Materials (BOM) to ramp production.
Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead times and flexibility.
Perform BOM risk assessments including alternate component sourcing and component qualifications.
Lead cost engineering activities to align bottom-up costs with total cost of ownership goals.
Manage project capital expenditures (CAPEX) throughout the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field.
6+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in a supply chain or production role for complex mechanical/electrical assemblies.
3+ years of experience in a leadership position.
Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
Ability to travel up to 30% as required by the role.
Willingness to relocate to Costa Mesa, CA if not already local.
