As a Model Based Systems Engineer at GE Aerospace in Grand Rapids, MI or Clearwater, FL, you will join the Computing, Networking, and Military Systems team as an individual contributor, driving the development of innovative solutions for advanced military and civil platforms. What you'll do
Lead programs through the systems engineering lifecycle using ARP4754A, DO-178, and DO-254 standards.
Define, validate, and verify system requirements using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approaches.
Generate and allocate functional requirements into efficient software and firmware architectures utilizing MBSE.
Develop innovative technical solutions for GE Aviation Systems on development programs and proposals.
Interact with customer engineering organizations to define and shape requirements for future platforms.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in EE, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field.
2 years of experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) development.
2 years of experience with modeling languages such as UPDM, SysML, UML.
2 years of experience using MBSE tooling like Cameo, Sparx, Rhapsody.
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance.
