What you'll do

  • Design and enhance internal applications for insider risk detection and user risk assessment.
  • Mature an internally developed UEBA capability, including detection workflows and analyst-facing investigation experiences.
  • Evaluate new technologies and contribute to decision-making regarding their viability within Target’s technical environment.
  • Lead design, code review, testing, debugging, and implementation activities at the application level.
  • Support data pipeline capabilities that improve operational effectiveness for current tooling gaps.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of software development experience, including full cycle implementation.
  • Expertise in frontend (JavaScript/TypeScript, React) and backend development.
  • Experience designing REST APIs and integrating web-based services.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with SOAR platforms, UEBA, insider risk detection, and behavioral analytics.
