Lab Manager - Mellon College of Science - Neuroscience Institute

What you'll do

• Assist in experimental development and stimulus generation for research projects.
• Coordinate data collection activities using various neuroimaging techniques like fMRI and EEG.
• Conduct data preprocessing, quality assurance, and analysis using LINUX and Mac software.
• Ensure compliance with IRB protocols and manage lab record keeping and equipment maintenance.
• Train and support undergraduate research assistants in laboratory procedures and data analysis.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in cognitive science, neuroscience, computer science, psychology, or related field required.
• At least 3 years of research experience in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Strong analytical and data collection skills with proficiency in LINUX and Mac-based software.
• Experience in conducting behavioral testing, fMRI, EEG, and transcranial magnetic stimulation studies.
• Ability to manage lab operations, including equipment maintenance and training staff on procedures.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for coordinating research projects and IRB protocols.
