Qualcomm IT is hiring a senior-level Kubernetes generalist to join its mature team of platform administrators, where the role involves constructing, deploying, and managing high-performance bare-metal on-prem and cloud-based multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters using Rancher, RKE2, GKE, EKS, and AKS. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring cluster performance, developing automation scripts, and troubleshooting complex issues related to Cilium networking and GPU acceleration. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of Kubernetes administration experience, proficiency in Kustomize or Helm, intermediate knowledge of Kubernetes control plane architecture, and advanced skills with git and GitHub. Additional beneficial experience includes CKAD/CKA certifications, Datadog log and metrics collection, Open Policy Agent (OPA), and managing GPU-accelerated workloads.
