Kubernetes Platform Engineer

What you'll do

• Manage, administer, and support cloud environments to ensure continuous improvement.
• Resolve complex technical problems and provide rapid incident resolution.
• Develop innovative solutions for infrastructure and platform challenges.
• Mentor and supervise team members on technical tasks and projects.
• Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
• Utilize Terraform for infrastructure as code and environment management.
• Create and conduct automated unit and system integration tests.

What we're looking for

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Docker.
• Experience with version control.
• Experience with CI/CD.
• Knowledge of Terraform.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 2 months of hire date.
• Experience managing and deploying applications in an air-gapped environment (preferred).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Discourse (preferred).
• Experience creating and conducting automated unit and system integration tests (preferred).
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree (preferred).
