What you'll do
Design and deploy meaningful infrastructure services such as logging, monitoring, and alerting.
Manage project backlogs and ensure predictability in project delivery.
Develop standard processes for provisioning, application scaling, configuration management, and capacity planning.
Analyze customer usage data to drive continuous improvement of the platform offering.
Own daily operational goals and champion engineering excellence through standardized processes.
Implement monitoring and performance tuning strategies for large cloud-hosted systems.
Participate in on-call rotations to address complex issues and maintain service availability.
What we're looking for
3+ years of experience in DevOps or a similar role.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Ruby, with hands-on Linux expertise.
Experience with cloud PaaS providers such as AWS and configuration management tools (Chef, Puppet).
Strong understanding of network technologies including DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, SQL, HTTP.
Solid experience in managing large-scale cloud systems, including auto-scaling, monitoring, performance tuning.
Proficiency in source control, continuous integration, testing pipelines, and disaster recovery practices.
