As a mid-level DevOps Engineer on our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our secure, reliable cloud infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities include collaborating with security and compliance teams to implement automated platform solutions that support development teams. You’ll leverage your expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) to ensure robust and scalable systems. Additionally, you will work independently while leading others across various development teams in an agile environment, focusing on cloud and network security architecture, GitOps tooling, and containerized production systems. This role requires a solid understanding of Kubernetes deployment, hardened AMIs, and Container Images, as well as the ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT II certification within two months of starting.
- Design and implement secure infrastructure features using AWS cloud services.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes production systems and containerized applications.
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions to manage cloud resources efficiently.
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with network and cloud security standards.
- Lead the deployment of GitOps tooling for continuous integration and delivery processes.
What we're looking for
4+ years of experience with DevOps for Containerized and Kubernetes production systems.
3+ years of experience with CI/CD and developer workflow automation, including Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
Expertise in cloud and network security architecture, AWS cloud, and GitOps tooling.
HS diploma or GED required; ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT II Certification within 60 days of start date.
Top Secret clearance is mandatory.
Experience with hardened AMIs and Container Images preferred.
