What you'll do

Administer Windows and Linux systems while maintaining approved hardened baselines for classified environments.
Manage VMware vSphere infrastructure including provisioning, patching, and ensuring STIG compliance for all virtual components.
Apply and validate STIGs across various platforms using SCAP, SCC, and manual methods to ensure security compliance.
Configure and maintain enterprise services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and patch repositories.
Develop automation scripts and Ansible playbooks to reduce manual effort and enforce configuration consistency.
Monitor system health and security posture while proactively responding to alerts and anomalies.
Implement technical remediations for vulnerability scans identified by the ISSO within required timelines.
Maintain backup and recovery procedures to ensure RPO/RTO targets are met across all environments.

What we're looking for

Experience administering and hardening Windows Server and Linux (RHEL) in classified environments.
Hands-on VMware vSphere administration including provisioning and patching.
Ability to apply and validate STIGs using SCAP/SCC tools.
Experience managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise patch management.
Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python and Ansible.
Must possess and be able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph.
Experience with VMware vSAN and Horizon/VDI environments (preferred).
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, RHCSA, VCP, or equivalent (preferred).
