IT Security Engineer 2

What you'll do

• Analyze and remediate network vulnerabilities based on security assessments.
• Design technical solutions to complex cybersecurity problems requiring extensive expertise.
• Provide oversight for continuous monitoring and adherence to risk management activities.
• Interpret noncompliance patterns to assess impact on enterprise cybersecurity program.
• Advise senior management on cybersecurity risk levels and overall security posture.

What we're looking for

• Six or more years of experience in information systems security and network operations/support.
• Solid understanding of IT Security including network and host security products like intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and anti-virus tools.
• Experience evaluating system, network, or infrastructure security controls against FISMA and NIST guidelines.
• Working knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and protocols.
• Possess active 'secret' level security clearance or ability to acquire it.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with experience working in a team environment.
