What you'll do

Own the project budget, schedule, and resourcing to keep assignments on track.
Identify and mitigate risks as they emerge throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage project delivery across enterprise technology, data governance, and data modernization workstreams.
Provide project management within Agile environments to meet client goals.
Keep clients informed on project progress and milestones.
Lead and mentor technical and functional domain staff on project tasks.
Implement data governance frameworks and enterprise data management principles.
Produce executive-level guidance documents and communications for stakeholders.

What we're looking for

7+ years of experience planning, initiating, and managing information technology (IT) projects.
5+ years of experience leading, mentoring, and guiding the work of technical and functional domain staff.
Experience managing budgets, schedules, risks, and quality control for multi-workstream programs.
Experience with federal government contracts, including HHS or CDC.
Experience with stakeholder engagement and executive-level communication.
Knowledge of data governance frameworks and enterprise data management principles.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.
Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Health Informatics, or Public Administration.
Experience with healthcare data standards and terminologies (preferred).
Experience supporting public health data exchange or CDC data modernization initiatives (preferred).
Experience with Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC) frameworks and IT investment review processes (preferred).
Experience with cloud tools, including AWS, Azure, or GCP (preferred).
Experience working in Agile environments (preferred).
Experience producing executive-level guidance documents (preferred).
Knowledge of governance committee structures, including steering committees and technical review boards (preferred).
Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills (preferred).
Scrum Master Certification (preferred).
ITIL Certification (preferred).
