iOS Frameworks Engineer, Services Special Project

What you'll do

• Design and implement frameworks, daemons, and system services for Apple Services experiences.
• Build efficient inter-process communication layers using XPC for secure and performant data exchange.
• Architect and implement CloudKit-based data synchronization for seamless cross-device experiences.
• Design robust interfaces to REST endpoints and backend services with graceful degradation.
• Build and maintain metrics and telemetry frameworks to measure feature health and performance.
• Drive architectural decisions and perform peer reviews of API designs and software changes.
• Mentor other engineers to improve engineering quality and technical depth.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience on client-side or platform-level iOS systems.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C for shipping production-quality frameworks, daemons, or system APIs.
• Strong systems programming expertise in concurrency, multithreading, memory management, and performance tuning.
• Understanding of systems-level concepts including XPC, process lifecycle management, and resource constraints.
• Experience integrating client applications with RESTful APIs and cloud services.
• Proficiency with development tools such as Xcode, LLDB, Instruments, and Git.
• Experience with CloudKit, AI/ML principles, or SQL and database technologies (preferred).
