What you'll do

  • Develop solutions for efficiently syncing health data across multiple Apple platforms.
  • Design and tune features for millions of users on power and performance-constrained devices.
  • Design and deliver comprehensive test suites in collaboration with quality assurance teams.
  • Design and deliver logical, scalable, and forward-thinking APIs for the developer ecosystem.
  • Perform peer reviews of architecture, API designs, and individual software changes.
  • Provide technical guidance to internal teams regarding design, privacy, and security requirements.

What we're looking for

  • BS Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
  • 2 years of experience working in Objective-C, Swift, C++, or similar high-level programming languages.
  • Experience in object-oriented architecture and design.
  • Understanding of systems-level concepts like multi-threading and interprocess communication.
  • Experience with debugging tools, performance tuning, and iOS technologies such as Grand Central Dispatch, CloudKit, or XPC.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience with distributed systems, SQL/database technologies, delivering APIs, or familiarity with medical concepts (preferred).
