What you'll do

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications and automation for audit workflows.
  • Build and expose secure RESTful APIs using Flask or similar frameworks to serve internal data.
  • Develop responsive user interfaces using React and JavaScript based on business requirements.
  • Design data models and write efficient SQL to support reporting and analytics needs.
  • Manage source control, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines within GitLab.
  • Package and deploy applications to containerized environments like Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Ensure engineering quality through unit tests, integration tests, and Test-Driven Development.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 3–5 years of professional software engineer experience.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on Python development experience building production applications and exposure to pandas and NumPy.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience building UIs with React and modern JavaScript.
  • Solid SQL skills and a good understanding of data modelling concepts including normalization and schema evolution.
  • Hands-on experience with GitLab and core Git concepts plus practical exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing unit tests, integration tests, and Test-Driven Development.
  • Proven track record operating in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum setup with a global/remote team.
