Sr. Vice President, Internal Audit, Cloud Technology Audit

What you'll do

• Provide assurance on the integrity, security, and compliance of cloud computing environments like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Perform regular risk assessments for assigned areas to identify potential threats to firm operations.
• Lead audit work by defining scope, assessing control design, and reporting findings to management.
• Monitor regulatory requirements, industry standards, and emerging technology developments.
• Validate the successful closure of management action points following audit findings.
• Audit cloud security configurations, identity and access management, data encryption, and network security.
• Evaluate DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code within a cloud context.
• Manage, coach, and develop members of the audit team.

What we're looking for

• Relevant audit experience focusing on Financial Services.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, risks, and mitigating controls including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
• Proficiency in auditing cloud services such as compute, storage, networking, databases, and serverless functions.
• Proficiency in auditing cloud security configurations, IAM, data encryption, network security, logging, monitoring, and incident response.
• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC) in a cloud context.
• Familiarity with cloud-native security tools like AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, or GCP Security Command Center.
• Relevant certification or industry accreditation.
