Intern, Software Engineer will join a dynamic engineering team to support the development of advanced software solutions. This role involves hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing of embedded software for real-time applications. The intern will work with cross-functional members to develop hardware and software interfaces, create test procedures, and use modeling tools to evaluate operating data. The position focuses on the technical challenge of developing real-time control systems for advanced tactical radio equipment. Candidates will utilize a variety of languages including C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, HTML5, XML, SQL, Perl, Python, Ajax, and Qt across Windows, Linux, mobile platforms, and embedded real-time operating systems such as VxWorks, QNX, and Integrity on various processor designs.

What we're looking for
Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field at an accredited university.
Must be able to obtain a security clearance (limited to U.S. citizens).
Ability to apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts to software development.
Experience with various programming languages such as C++, C#, C, Java, Ruby, HTML5, XML, SQL, Perl, Python, Ajax, or Qt.
Familiarity with Windows, Linux, mobile platforms, and embedded real-time operating systems like VxWorks, QNX, or Integrity.
Knowledge of one or more of the following: .NET, Unix, SOA, Real-Time Controls, Wireless, Software Security, Robotics, OOA/OOD, Hadoop, or Android (preferred).
