As an Information Systems Security Engineer at our firm, you will join a dedicated cybersecurity team to ensure the secure integration of system requirements through architecture, design, development, and configuration. Your daily tasks include coordinating with ISSMs for modifications, enforcing DoD cybersecurity policies, and maintaining systems to achieve IATO and ATO. You’ll support clients in developing advanced cybersecurity solutions using RMF and technical implementations while working on complex hybrid systems problems with minimal supervision. The role demands expertise in enterprise vulnerability scanning, security control assessments, and integrating principles to comply with DoD directives and STIGs. Proficiency in engineering robust security solutions like firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM tools is essential, along with knowledge of DevSecOps, Cloud technologies such as AWS, and Agile methodologies. A TS/SCI clearance and relevant certifications are required for this critical role.

What you'll do
Develop and implement robust security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM tools.
Guide clients through the RMF process to achieve IATO and ATO for secure system operations.
Conduct enterprise vulnerability scanning and remediate risks according to DoD directives and STIGs.
Document, monitor, update, and manage systems to maintain an acceptable security posture continuously.

What we're looking for
3+ years of experience guiding clients through RMF and ATO processes.
Experience as an ISSE, ISSO, or in IT/Cybersecurity roles.
Proficiency in conducting vulnerability scans, risk remediation, and security control assessments.
Expertise in achieving system certification, accreditation, assessment, and authorization.
Knowledge of DoD communication, cybersecurity, and IT systems.
TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8140 IAT Level II Certification.
