Northrop Grumman is seeking IBCS Air Defense Maintainer/Instructors to join their team as subject matter experts, responsible for training military or defense clients on the Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS), which integrates sensors and effectors into a unified command system. Candidates will develop and evaluate training materials, conduct formal training sessions, troubleshoot software and hardware issues, and provide technical guidance for installation and configuration of IBCS systems. The role requires expertise in software, hardware, IT, networking, and experience with military operations and procedures. Ideal candidates should have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, along with a Secret clearance and the ability to travel internationally up to 75% of the time.

What you'll do

  • Conducts on-site training and supports development of IBCS training materials.
  • Assists in planning and executing military training exercises across all phases.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical systems at the operator level.
  • Provides technical advice for installation, configuration, and enhancement of IBCS.
  • Performs preventive maintenance checks on government-furnished equipment according to procedures.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent work experience
  • Secret Security Clearance and valid passport with at least 2 years remaining
  • Ability to obtain IBCS associate instructor certification within 6 months
  • Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software systems
  • Must be willing to travel approximately 75% OCONUS
  • Knowledge of military operations, procedures, and training activities
