As an IAM Operations Engineer, you will join a cybersecurity-focused team to maintain and support enterprise identity, certificate, and access management systems. Your daily tasks include administering Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS), managing the lifecycle of certificates, troubleshooting authentication issues, and ensuring compliance with operational requirements. You will work closely with various technical teams to monitor system health, perform routine maintenance, and implement security patches. Additionally, you will contribute to process improvement efforts by automating certificate management tasks and documenting operational procedures. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience in PKI environments, knowledge of Linux systems administration, and familiarity with asymmetric cryptography concepts. Experience with Keyfactor and Venafi platforms, ACME, and SCEP processes is a plus.
Manage routine operational activities such as certificate issuance, renewal, and revocation.
Monitor system health and perform maintenance on IAM and PKI platforms.
Troubleshoot authentication issues and maintain secure access controls for enterprise systems.
Support Certificate Authority operations and ensure compliance with security policies.
Document operational procedures and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Assist in the automation of certificate management tasks and incident response activities.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enhance the reliability of IAM services.
What we're looking for
3+ years of experience supporting PKI environments in cybersecurity or enterprise operations.
Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS).
Proficient in performing operational support activities such as monitoring, patching, troubleshooting, and maintenance of security systems.
Experience with certificate lifecycle management processes including issuance, renewal, revocation, and automation.
Knowledge of certificate policies, structures, and compliance requirements for secure operations.
Familiarity with Linux systems administration and asymmetric cryptography concepts.
