What you'll do
- Drive planning and execution of HSIO interfaces across various stages for GPUs and SOCs.
- Investigate complex HSIO bugs and coordinate debug efforts with multiple teams.
- Develop new methodologies to enhance silicon validation processes and meet industry standards.
- Ensure interoperability between devices in sophisticated interconnect topologies.
- Coordinate with multi-functional engineering teams to facilitate product design, development, and release.
What we're looking for
- BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- In-depth understanding of PCIe and similar HSIO protocols, including characterization/validation methods post-silicon.
- Expertise in signal integrity concepts, silicon characteristics, and high-speed/SERDES functional validation.
- Proficiency in using lab equipment for hands-on post-Si bring-up and functional validation of HSIO interfaces.
- Knowledge of firmware/driver structures and their interaction with hardware.
- Strong scripting skills in Perl or Python for test/debug programs and stress/failure analysis.
