What you'll do

Serve as the primary Workday Payroll subject matter expert for configuration, production support, and system optimization.
Configure and maintain Workday modules including Payroll, Absence, Benefits, and HCM to meet regulatory requirements.
Lead the testing, deployment, and validation of Workday releases and new functionality across global regions.
Troubleshoot complex payroll issues and perform root cause analysis to resolve production incidents.
Develop and manage integrations between Workday and third-party systems for payroll, timekeeping, and finance.
Build reports, dashboards, and data audits to ensure payroll accuracy and data integrity.
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and standardize system configurations across the HR technology landscape.
Create and maintain functional documentation, configuration workbooks, and knowledge articles for system governance.

What we're looking for

Minimum of 3+ years of experience supporting Workday Payroll in an HR Technology, HRIS, or Payroll Systems role.
Demonstrated expertise configuring and supporting Workday Payroll is required.
Hands-on configuration experience with Workday Absence, Benefits, and HCM is required.
Direct experience supporting payroll operations in both the United States and Canada is required.
Experience supporting United Kingdom payroll is highly preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
Workday Pro certification(s), particularly Payroll (preferred).
Experience with Workday Studio, Core Connectors, APIs, or other integration technologies (preferred).
