What we're looking for
Must be currently enrolled in high school or graduating before the internship begins.
Must be available to work full-time and in person from San Francisco or Seattle for 12 consecutive weeks between May and August.
Experience programming through independent projects, research, coursework, competitions, open source contributions, or a startup.
Evidence of exceptional technical achievement such as building products, substantial open source contributions, original research, or advanced competition performance.
Ability to explain individual contributions including technical decisions, tradeoffs, testing, and improvements.
Experience working on technical projects with others and incorporating feedback from peers or mentors.
Ability to learn unfamiliar systems through independent research and collaboration with experts.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
One or more areas of deeper technical knowledge such as frontend, backend, infrastructure, data, machine learning, security, or developer tools (preferred).
