Head of SOX and Internal Controls

What you'll do

• Own and continuously strengthen the company's SOX business process control environment.
• Lead annual risk assessments and design key business controls for financial reporting integrity.
• Embed effective internal controls into core processes like order-to-cash and procure-to-pay.
• Drive remediation of control deficiencies and serve as liaison with Internal Audit and external auditors.
• Build scalable automation capabilities to reduce operational friction while maintaining control effectiveness.
• Execute regular SOX status reporting to senior leadership and establish governance forums.

What we're looking for

• 13+ years of progressive experience in SOX, internal controls, and public company environments.
• Deep technical knowledge of SOX 404, PCAOB standards, and COSO framework.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CA, CIA, CISA, or CRMA.
• 6+ years of people management experience leading large-scale SOX programs.
• Track record of influencing senior leaders in high-growth technology-driven environments.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, workflow tools, and control automation technologies.
• Experience managing SOX in multi-entity or multi-jurisdictional environments.
