What you'll do

  • Serve as primary SOX liaison to Intuit's Technology organization for ITGCs and automated controls.
  • Own and operationalize AI SOX Governance Framework, including risk classification and lifecycle oversight.
  • Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of technology, AI, and data environment controls.
  • Lead walkthroughs with external auditors for ITGC and automated/application control documentation.
  • Support deficiency evaluation process, including root cause analysis and remediation validation.
  • Ensure regular review and update of SOX protocols related to IT and AI controls.
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive awareness and understanding of SOX requirements and control standards.

What we're looking for

  • 7+ years of experience in Big 4 public accounting or SOX industry with a focus on IT and technology risk.
  • Deep expertise in IT General Controls (ITGCs), automated controls, and PCAOB/COSO frameworks.
  • Proven ability to design AI/ML control frameworks and model risk management programs.
  • Strong leadership and process management skills for complex workstreams.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to various audiences.
  • Hands-on experience with SOX tooling and GRC platforms preferred.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or equivalent.
