The role requires expertise in MATLAB, Simulink, Python, C++, Go, and Linux systems, along with a strong background in aerospace engineering or related fields, knowledge of orbital mechanics, control theory, and experience with spacecraft dynamics and rendezvous proximity operations.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop spacecraft GNC software and hardware subsystems for various orbital missions.
  • Create test plans and procedures to validate GNC systems during ground checkout and on-orbit operations.
  • Develop flight software, algorithms, and simulation products for spacecraft autonomy tools.
  • Work closely with bus providers to implement successful GNC system integration.
  • Lead the validation and operational phases of GNC systems for Anduril’s fleet of spacecraft.

What we're looking for

  • Strong background in Aerospace Engineering, Dynamics and Controls Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, Python, C++, Go, and Linux Systems.
  • Knowledge of spacecraft dynamics, orbital mechanics, and control theory.
  • Familiarity with rendezvous proximity operations, docking, and propulsive spacecraft orbital mechanics.
  • Development of flight software, algorithms, and simulation products for spacecraft.
  • Design and validation of GNC systems through test plans and procedures in various orbital regimes.
