As a Full Stack Software Engineer within the AI & Data Platforms team, you will develop internal web tools and services that transform complex data into products used by teams across the organization. Your daily responsibilities include building end-to-end features consisting of frontend interfaces backed by REST APIs and backend services to fetch, process, and present large datasets. You will design and build Python-based backend services while utilizing TypeScript, React, and modern CSS like Tailwind for front-end development. The role requires proficiency in SQL, gRPC, or GraphQL, as well as experience with AI-assisted development tools and agents. This position focuses on the technical challenge of streamlining generative AI adoption and building data-dense user experiences that integrate directly into internal workflows to solve complex data management problems across the enterprise.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain internal web tools with rich, data-dense experiences based on UX requirements.
  • Build full-stack features including frontend interfaces, REST APIs, and backend services to process complex data.
  • Design and build scalable backend services and REST APIs using Python.
  • Integrate solutions directly into user workflows and iterate quickly based on real feedback.
  • Collaborate with business, operations, and data engineering teams to define requirements and scope work.
  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools and agents to prototype and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience spanning frontend and backend systems.
  • 2+ years proficiency in TypeScript, React, and modern CSS like Tailwind.
  • 2+ years experience building production backend services in Python.
  • 2+ years experience designing and consuming REST, gRPC, or GraphQL APIs.
  • 1+ years experience building applications with modern AI tools and agents.
  • 1+ years working proficiency in SQL and experience working with large, complex datasets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with data-intensive UIs, cloud platforms, container orchestration, and cross-functional collaboration (preferred).
