What you'll do

Design and develop Java-based REST APIs and stateless microservices using Javalin.
Build data ingestion pipelines for SFTP, batch processing, and various file formats like XML and JSON.
Create and maintain JasperReports templates to modernize reporting workflows and reconciliation logic.
Write complex SQL queries for data aggregation, validation, and cross-system data blending.
Integrate with Datacom/CICS systems using JDBC or REST gateways.
Execute comprehensive testing including unit, integration, API, batch, and end-to-end scenarios.
Troubleshoot application issues and manage defect triage during the UAT phase.

What we're looking for

Bachelor Degree in Computers or a related field.
US citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency is required.
10+ years of experience in Java development, microservices, or REST API design.
Experience with JSON modeling, data validation, and transformation logic.
Strong SQL skills including joins, aggregations, and reconciliation queries.
Experience building reports using JasperReports or similar reporting frameworks.
Experience with unit, integration, API, and data-pipeline testing.
Ability to troubleshoot complex application, data, or report issues across environments.
