What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers to create distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
Deliver robust cloud-based solutions using Java, Python, Go, and AWS to drive customer experiences.
Provide technical leadership across Agile teams by setting standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
Partner with architects to define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks.
Identify areas for improvement by implementing targeted refactoring and reducing technical debt.
Influence long-term technology strategy by evaluating emerging tools and practices in a "you build it, you own it" environment.
Mentor other members of the engineering community and drive professional development within technical teams.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
7+ years of experience coding with more than two of Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala (preferred).
3+ years of experience with database management systems, AWS/GCP/Azure, front-end frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control (preferred).
4+ years of experience contributing to open source frameworks or creating synchronous and asynchronous APIs (preferred).
1+ year of experience mentoring engineers and driving professional development within technical teams (preferred).
