Join Boeing’s Information Digital Technology & Security team as a Full Stack AI-Enabled Modernization Developer, either mid-level or senior, where you will support the development and modernization of enterprise software applications using AI tools. Your day-to-day involves designing technical solutions based on end-user requirements, utilizing AI agents to construct database objects, analyzing architecture specifications for security needs, and resolving programming issues. You’ll collaborate with agile teams, cloud enablement experts, and vendors to ensure secure and compliant AI adoption while training developers on best practices. Key skills include experience in C#, .NET, Java, Python, SQL, JavaScript, AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. This role is pivotal in shaping Boeing’s AI strategy and modernizing legacy applications across the enterprise.
Design and develop computing applications using AI-enabled tools.
Analyze requirements to determine architecture specifications and application security needs.
Modify or upgrade enterprise software applications for performance and functionality.
Identify and resolve programming issues related to legacy modernization efforts.
Apply AI tooling to support code analysis, test generation, documentation, and migration.
Train developers on best practices in secure development and modernization methods.
What we're looking for
3+ years of experience with AI software development and application development in multiple programming languages.
3+ years of experience working with agile teams and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience supporting legacy modernization initiatives including rehosting, re-platforming, rearchitecting, or refactoring.
Proficiency in using AI tooling for software development, code transformation, test automation, documentation, and analysis.
5+ years of experience training, coaching, or mentoring developers on modern engineering tools and practices.
Experience with secure coding, Dev/Sec/Ops, CI/CD, and enterprise governance practices.
Strong collaboration skills to work closely with Information Security, Cloud Enablement, and vendor partners.
