What you'll do

Architect and validate production-grade vSphere Kubernetes Service and VMware Cloud Foundation topologies for mission-critical deployments.
Design and deploy production systems for real-time LLM inferencing, RAG pipelines, and distributed AI runtime frameworks.
Lead end-to-end technical migration strategies to move legacy bare metal systems to unified cloud-native Kubernetes targets.
Write production operators, CRDs, and prototype integrations in the field to unblock strategic enterprise accounts.
Translate complex customer pain points and field workarounds into concrete product requirements for the engineering roadmap.
Establish deployment standards, GitOps frameworks, and CAPI patterns while mentoring other engineers in the organization.
Define cross-platform integration strategies for clients operating across multiple competing cloud distributions like OpenShift, EKS, and GKE.

What we're looking for

17+ years of related experience are required.
10+ years of software engineering experience with 5+ years in infrastructure, distributed systems, AI platforms, or Kubernetes architectures at scale.
Mastery of Kubernetes internals, CRDs, Cluster API (CAPI), and GitOps architecture.
Extensive experience architecting high throughput AI inferencing pipelines and virtualized GPU environments.
Proven track record of migrating complex enterprise monoliths and bare metal systems to cloud-native targets.
Proficiency in developing system-level infrastructure and automation using Go, Python, or Java.
Technical fluency across multiple distributions including OpenShift, EKS, GKE, AKS, and Rancher.
A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
