Fluids Systems Engineer, Solar Cell Factory (Starlink)

What you'll do

• Design and build fluid systems for gas and chemical distribution in solar cell fabrication.
• Conduct safety/hazard assessments to ensure compliance with hazardous material standards.
• Develop modular fluid systems for scalable manufacturing across multiple facilities.
• Implement data acquisition and control systems for monitoring fluid facility operations.
• Collaborate with process engineers to optimize fluid delivery rates and purity levels.
• Track system performance metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, or aerospace engineering
• 2+ years of experience in fluid systems design for gases and hazardous chemicals
• Knowledge of safety protocols for handling pyrophoric materials and toxic gases/chemicals
• Experience with ASME B31.3, SEMI S2/S8 standards, and cleanroom HVAC integration
• Proficiency in fluid dynamics software (e.g., ANSYS Fluent) and CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD)
• Certification in process safety or hazardous materials handling
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
