What you'll do

  • Maintain and repair HVAC support equipment including air handlers, chilled water systems, condenser pumps, cooling towers.
  • Perform ductwork modifications, brazing, soldering, evacuation & charging of various refrigerants, and insulation repairs.
  • Assemble, install, repair, and maintain pipes, fittings, heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications.
  • Adjust and fabricate mechanical parts using hand and machine tools for repairs and upgrades.
  • Present information on equipment maintenance statuses for critical facilities to internal and external customers.
  • Operate a forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack, boom lift, work truck, and overhead crane as required.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of professional experience with HVAC, plumbing, pneumatic, electrical, or mechanical systems
  • Technical certification in HVAC, Mechanical, Plumbing, or Electrical Systems
  • Knowledge of high-pressure gas, flammable gas, and refrigeration gases
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems down to the component level
  • Familiarity with commercial building codes and ability to read technical language in specifications, schematics, and blueprints
  • Experience maintaining HEPA filters and standard air handling unit (AHU) filtration systems
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools for generating service reports and communicating within the company
