Executive Director, Platform Governance & Strategy

What you'll do

• Lead the scaling and maturation of SRE practices by establishing error budgets, SLOs, SLAs, and incident response frameworks.
• Define and enforce reliability standards including on-call models, blameless postmortem processes, and corrective action tracking.
• Serve as Product Manager for FinOps and SecOps domains, owning product vision, prioritization, and stakeholder alignment.
• Establish and maintain a governance framework ensuring adherence to organizational standards across incident management, risk tracking, and audit findings.
• Define and execute multi-year cloud architecture strategy aligned with business growth, scalability, regulatory compliance, and cost optimization goals.

What we're looking for

• Proven executive-level leadership in SRE or platform reliability organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to build and scale SRE practices, including frameworks and models.
• Deep expertise in cloud architecture strategy and governance with enterprise-wide standards experience.
• Strong track record of cross-functional partnership for technical domain roadmaps.
• Experience managing governance and compliance frameworks within a platform engineering organization.
• Ability to design metrics and reporting frameworks providing visibility into platform health and performance.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent, 15+ years of cloud engineering experience.
