Executive Director, AI Infrastructure & Platform Engineering

What you'll do

• Define and execute long-range vision and strategy for AI infrastructure with high availability and performance.
• Recruit, hire, develop, and retain a high-performing engineering team across various technical functions.
• Establish operational baselines and enforce them across hardware, network fabric, GPU clusters, storage, and operating systems.
• Build and sustain a 24/7 operations model ensuring sustainable coverage and measurable team health.
• Direct bare-metal Kubernetes and OpenShift operations, including cluster administration and infrastructure-as-code adoption.

What we're looking for

• Over 10 years of engineering leadership experience with direct ownership of physical infrastructure at data center scale.
• Hands-on production ownership of bare-metal Kubernetes or OpenShift, excluding managed cloud services expertise.
• Expertise in high-speed cluster fabrics like RoCE v2 and operational discipline required for these fabrics.
• Proven track record leading multiple technical teams, including 24/7 operations with measurable outcomes.
• Experience establishing and enforcing operational baselines and observability-driven continuous improvement.
• Background in hardware lifecycle management, vendor accountability, and facility coordination.
